EVENT INFORMATION

The Tour de Corgi is a Corgi Meet-Up and carnival parade of corgis through Old Town Fort Collins.

To be held Saturday October 1, 2022 @ Civic Center Park and Old Town Fort Collins

Proceeds benefit 4 Paws Pet Pantry, Colorado Corgis and Friends Rescue, Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue, and Bandits BandAid

COVID INFORMATION:  All participants and observers should be fully vaccinated, maintain CDC recommended social distancing, and wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.

     Sunday September 11, 2022

                Last day to pre-order t-shirts, merchandise and admission wristbands

     Week of September 19, 2022

                Shipping date for pre-ordered 2022 t-shirts, merchandise and admission wristbands

     Saturday October 1, 2022

                9:00 a.m.       Vendor set up

                9:30 a.m.       Registration,  Meet-up & Vendor Booths begin

               10:00 a.m.      Costume Contest begins

               12:00 p.m.      Parade begins at Civic Center Park.

                2:30 p.m.       Event ends

The public is invited to visit Civic Center Park and the dog-related vendor booths.

Please note, that all adults must have a wrist band to participate in either the parade or costume contest.

We will offer wrist bands, and a limited number of short-sleeved unisex T-Shirts and merchandise on the day of the event. Supplies will be limited, so we encourage you to order in advance to guarantee your preferred t-shirt, style, size, and color.  (And, to avoid the line!)

2022 Costume Contest 

The Costume Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. at Civic Center Park. Adults must have a wristband to participate.

10:45 am   Line-up “Greatest Group”
11:00 am   Line-up for “Best Camping Corgi”
11:15 am    Line-up for “Best Camping Corgis Group”
11:30 am   Judge Conference followed by Prize Awards
12:00 pm  Parade begins

Parade details: Patio restaurants en route are In parentheses.

  1. The parade will exit Civic Center Park from the north and cross College Ave. at LaPorte Ave.
  2. Proceed down the east side of College Ave. (Starbucks, Wags, Bean Cycle. Town Pump)
  3. Turn east and circle through Old Town Square. (The Kitchen, Lucky Joes, Yeti)
  4. Circle in front of the stage and back to the south. (Little Bird Cafe, Bondi Beach Bar, Coopersmith’s north patio, Ben & Jerry’s)
  5. At the south end of Old Town Square, go half a block east to the crosswalk. (Coopersmith’s south patio)
  6. Cross Mountain Ave. at the crosswalk.
  7. Head west back to College Ave. and turn south one more time. (Starry Night Cafe, Bisetti’s, The Crown Pub)
  8. Take the crosswalk that crosses directly to Oak Street Plaza.
  9. Take crosswalk that crosses Mason Street.
  10. Continue west along Oak Street.  Passing the Farmer’s Market.
  11. Turn north onto Howes Street and continue to the south side of Civic Center Park.
