EVENT INFORMATION

The Tour de Corgi is a Corgi Meet-Up and carnival parade of corgis through Old Town Fort Collins.

To be held Saturday October 3, 2026 @ Civic Center Park and Old Town Fort Collins

Proceeds benefit 4 Paws Pet Pantry, Colorado Corgis and Friends Rescue, and Bandit’s K9Care

2026 Schedule

     Sunday September 20, 2026

                Last (recommended) day to pre-order t-shirts, stickers, and other merch for timely arrival.   

     Sunday September 27, 2026

                Last day to register as a vendor or sponsor.  

      Friday October 2, 2026

               5:30 to 7:30 p.m.       Registration Event at Visit Fort Collins

     Saturday October 3, 2026

                8:00 a.m.       Vendor set up

                9:00 a.m.       Registration,  Meet-up & Vendor Booths begin

               10:00 a.m.      Costume Contest begins

               12:00 p.m.      Parade begins at Civic Center Park.

                1:00 p.m.       Event ends

The public is invited to visit Civic Center Park and the dog-related vendor booths.

Please note, that all adults must have a wrist band to participate in either the parade or costume contest.

We will offer wrist bands, and a limited number of stickers and short-sleeved unisex T-Shirts on the day of the event. Supplies will be limited, so we encourage you to order in advance to guarantee your preferred t-shirt, style, size, and color.  (And, to avoid the line!)

The Costume Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. at Civic Center Park. Adults must have a wristband to participate.

The schedule and categories are:

9:00 a.m.  Registration, Corgi Meet-up & Vendor Booths begin
9:50 a.m. Line-up “Completely Creative”
9:55 a.m. Line up “Purdiest”
10:00 a.m. Live Costume Contest begins
10:00 a.m. Line up “Baddest to the Bone”
10:05 a.m. Line up “Funniest Furry”
10:10 a.m. Line up “Greatest group”
10:25 a.m. Line up for “Best Rock Solo Performance”
10:30 a.m. Line up for “Best Rock Band”
Followed by Judge Conference & Prize Awards
12:00 p.m. Parade begins

 

The 2025 Costume Contest Judges are [drum roll and brass fanfare]:  

-You Tube Star Dude Dad returns for the 2nd time, along with his daughter June!

-Dr. Kelly Hall from the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital

-Artist and corgi parent, Ben Hatcher, who not only designed the 2025 “ROCK ON!” Tour de Corgi art but is also painting a corgi themed Piano About Town, modeled by his corgi, Sprinkles

Parade Information

Parade details: Patio restaurants en route are In parentheses.

  1. The parade will exit Civic Center Park from the north and cross College Ave. at LaPorte Ave.
  2. Proceed down the east side of College Ave. (Starbucks, Wags, Bean Cycle. Town Pump)
  3. Turn east and circle through Old Town Square. (The Kitchen, Lucky Joes, Yeti)
  4. Circle in front of the stage and back to the south. (Mercado del Mundo, Bondi Beach Bar, Coopersmith’s north patio, Ben & Jerry’s)
  5. At the south end of Old Town Square, go half a block east to the crosswalk. (Coopersmith’s south patio)
  6. Cross Mountain Ave. at the crosswalk and head west.
  7. Turn north onto Howes Street and continue to the south side of Civic Center Park.
